I went to a club with my wife tonight, new years eve, she asked me for permission to get the phone number of another man. I got upset and left. We've had some problems recently. She doesn't even make love with me anymore. Yet, when she is out with me, she has the balls to ask me if she can get the number of another man? She says it's because she wanted the number for business reasons. I don't believe her. Was I wrong? Is it cool for a wife to ask for another man's phone number at a club?

No, your wife shouldnt be doing that. YOU ARE NOT WRONG.
Also, let her know as firmly as you can about how there are arguments lately, the sex is fading, the relationship is going downhill and all she can do while being out with you is focus on a number for business purpose-offer her a dull knife and say here, use this, its just as effective on how you make me feel right now.

As a female, I am concerned about her not having sex with you.

If you two dont start seriously working on your marriage, both being honest with what is going on....just get out before she leaves you for another guy.

I mean this with all respect: Your wife is most likely cheating on you, and at the very least not interested in you as a lover. Her behavior indicates that she no longer cares about the future of your marriage.

My advice is this: if she wants out of the relationship and is not willing to give your marriage a shot, it is time for a divorce.

The fact that you posed such a question concerns me. It is obvious that you are in an unhealthy situation. You need to dig up some personal fortitude and take the bull by the horns. Don't expect her to try and resolve your marriage problems, because it is obvious that she does not want to.

You did not mention if children are involved or not. If not, that makes the decision even easier. Good Luck.

First of all did she speak to that man in front of you? Did she discuss business to him with you there? Is he in the same type of business? Did she seem to flirt with him? Just asking if its cool to ask for another mans number at a club seems obviously like a NO but it depends on what really went down. But it seems like the problems at home is a huge give away. I would address that. It seems you two need counselling quickly. Try to find a therapist to help you both out. Fast!

I was angry when i read this question. Your wife is moving emotional away from you and doing stuff to move you away from her. Weather she understands that or not. She was indeed 100 percent wrong to even subjest such. First off you are married to her and on a date trying to work on your relationship she interduces additional bagage to what end. Then she does not understrand why you got upset. You can get bussiness number in the yellow pages. No it is not cool nor is it responsible.

Dude. No. Your recent problems should be a clue... as if the balsy attitude of your wife to "get permission..." What? Is she rubbing it in your face? You have SOOO many indications that this relationship is in the toilet. Maybe, instead of the club, you should take her to a marriage counselor to try and find out why your relationship is dead in the water.
