My roommate is on SSDI and says he gets paid on the 3rd of every month, but sometimes it comes early, and I was just wondering if because of the New Year's holiday if that meant that he would get his check early. I am needing to pay the rent so I need to know. We've been having some disagreements and I'm trying to find out if he's trying to withhold rent on me if he's already got his check.

He is right! The 3rd of every month,, if it is a holiday on the third or a Saturday or Sunday he will get it early,, but mind you if he gets it on a Friday he will have no access with some banks until Monday,,

If you have any related questions you can contact the toll free number, 1-800-772-1213, 24 hours a day including weekends and holidays. You can speak to a representative from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. on business days.

Just give him to the 5th of every month to pay rent,, then there will be no worries! It is guaranteed money !
You might want to ask your landlord if you can change your rent due date and tell them why! most are accommodating!

It is delivered on Friday, if a holiday comes on Monday. In this case with Jan 1 on Monday, it will come on Wednesday Jan 3 as usual.
