it's not just a one category, too, the other is bag with unwrapped wripe tomatoes...in which bag do you think the green tomatoes will ripen first? then compare it with the other fruits in the other bag....and did the wrapped tomatoes affect the ripening of the other fruits?why or why not?

Many ripening fruits such as tomatos produce ethylene, a gaseous hormone that promotes ripening...Ethylene stimulates ripening whic stimulates ripening which stimulates ripening, ad nauseam. This is a rare example of positive feedback in biology. Ripe tomato fruits will hasten the ripening of green tomato fruits.
