always greener on the other side? And why do we care so much about someone else's lawn?

I really am talking about the expression, not the actual grass itself.

because we see the good side of others, not bad ones.
so after having everything also,we feel like others are better
when we are ourselves better also,we look into others's things
and we wonder that they are better if we are also.
its just a human habbit and no one can get over it.
we make ourselves unhappy when we see others happy.
its shouldn't be thought.

but i just feel like my grass are greener than my neighbour's.

The grass is always greener on the other side because we don't water ours. And although we don't water ours we don't like to see someone else's grass greener than ours

I think it is important because you do not want you neighborhood to look trashy.

I think the grass looks greener on ther otherside because you can't see all the dry dead patches of grass as easy farther away.

I think the phrase means things always look better from a distance.

It's NOT always greener, that's why it's an "expression" not a fact!

I don't know. I continually have this problem. I always think I want something, then when I get it I want something else. Never satisfied.
