The real spooky part of the stats is that it only covers the sociopaths. Now if you factor in all the other personality disorders, it makes you wonder if "normal" people are the minority of the general population.

i'm not stunned. yet...and that i've got not examine the object for myself...what approximately that larger proportion of adult men and ladies who're 'situationally' sociopathic? it somewhat is...people who're robotically 'uncaring and unfeeling' around specific human beings. as an occasion, I even have an ex-boyfriend and that i think that if he would desire to drop lifeless (like, immediately) i would not experience something. i comprehend it sounds harsh, yet it somewhat is the way i think. For him, i'm a huge void while it includes any thoughts (yea or nay)! i don't hate him, I basically don't experience something! His daddy died in a tornado a pair of years in the past and while he advised me approximately it, i became like "HAVE a advantageous DAY"!

First, what is the question? Second, learn how to interpret statistics. The conclusions you have drawn from the figures given are wrong. Third, don't believe everything you read on the Internet, especially Wikipedia. Fourth, are you implying there is something wrong with being a sociopath? I actually enjoy it. It is a perfectly logical, yet socially unacceptable, view of life.

I don't think you should take it so literally. The stats you stated per 1000 people maybe true, however not every person suffering from it will be affected to the same degree nor in the same way.
