The real spooky part of the stats is that it only covers the sociopaths. Now if you factor in all the other personality disorders, it makes you wonder if "normal" people are the minority of the general population.

I don't think you should take it so literally. The stats you stated per 1000 people maybe true, however not every person suffering from it will be affected to the same degree nor in the same way.
