when i look at sites my significant other can hit the scroll button and see every site i have been looking at. i hate this and would love to know how to protect my privacy.

start >> control panel >> internet options >> clear history

Tools>>Internet Options>> Clear History

Tools>>Internet Options>>Content Tab. Select Autocomplete. Remove tick next to Web Addresses. Then click on Clear Forms.

On your web browser, click on "Tools," then "Internet Options." About 3/4 of the way down on the box that opens, click on "Clear History." That should do it. That is, assuming you use Internet Explorer as your browser. If not, someone else should be able to help.

Right click an open area on your tool bar and there should be a customize link where you can add or remove icons from the tool bar.

go into Internet options and click on "Remove History"
