With respect! Only write about what you know and have experienced.Otherwise it will sound as fake as it is.
Why don't you try writing about being a preteen, who is fearful and confused about what life may hold. After already suffering rejection etc.
If you read the bios of the great song writers, then read their lyrics you will see they do it this way.
You have to be able to interpret and capture the feeling and passion of the subject.
Never write to please the people,or what you think they want to hear.
Write from your innermost part of your self, and only about issues on which you have a defined experience and can interpret.
Always keep a note book,to jot down random thought, things you hear people say and stuff that just pops into you head.
Do it straight away, else you will find it hard to correctly recall it later, when you sit down to write.
Many great songs are 5 or more years in the making.A line here,a hook there and eventually a song is born.
Above all be open to constructive criticism that is how we learn.

Some teens feel rejected and want to fit in, others just don't care and want to be different. Drugs, sex, love, pain, joy all of the normal things teens face.

Drugs and Sex are the only things I can think of... Even though most teens don't face either
