If you are a liberal all you can do is criticize, because your beliefs structure would be lies and untruths.
If you are a conservative, you can support your own position because you have history, facts, and truth to back you up.

I find it easier to support my own political position. However, while opposing someone I do like to listen and keep an open mind as to what they have found through research and deep thought on certain subjects in case they have come across factual things that I have not been privelaged to find.

Its much easier to support ones own view however when one sincerely looks at the opposing view with an open mind, one will grow, and become more tolerant of others, which on yahoo may promote someone cloning you, but often it is in the middle where the balance or the turth lies. Good to see its you and not a clone!

Everyone's a critic. It's much easier to attack the other side. That way you can get away with calling them names, as opposed to actually doing research and forming a nuanced opinion.

Easier to criticize. Which is why no conservative will ever give Bill Clinton credit for anything......ever. Eventhough he ran the country brilliantly for 8 years. We were prosperous, respected around the world as leaders, safe, and only had "Lewinsky's" to worry about.
Nothing like today's problems.
