I too have an idiot brother 5 years younger. I often beat the cr*p out of him. This does not seem to make the fool listen, but it does shut the moron up for a while. You'd think he'd learn, but so far it has been more than 40 years and he shows no sign of learning anything.

I am from India and you must know who is Gandhiji. So just follow gandhigiri. Gandhigiri (the term became famous after a movie lageraho munnabhai) means the terms or values on which mahatma Gandhi had lived. If your brother comes to irritate you do something, which will just astonish him. Tell him “oh you are my sweetest brother, you are so cute, will you do this for you caring sister”? I know it won’t help immediately. But do not loose hope. Let time pass. And one day you will see a miracle. Win the situation with love and respect. You will definitely win.

If he dosn't hit, ignore him or just walk away when he comes in the room. If he follows close the door behind you. If he hits, then whenever he hits you spray him with water, or poke him in the neck or kidney. If there comes a time when he is calm, annoy him. Do the exact thing he does, stare at him, say his name over and over, repeat his words. Or make up a word like pove or something, and call him that instead of his name. Just annoy him back and don't look annoyed, thats what keeps him going.

You probably wont take it from me cause I am 14 but I have a bro who is 10 & is the same way!
I did this & it worked out just fine.
I sat him down in my bedroom,told him how much he ment to me,said how he is the worst,& then finally said "You know what you need to stop cause you only get one sister & maybe one day I will die & you will miss me & regret it," then he stopped.
