last night for new years,I got to visit my best friend and her boyfriend
at his place for new years.my friend and I were drinking a lot as midnight approached she gave him the traditional new years kiss,
he suggested that she kiss me as well.At first she objected because
she and I are like brother and sister,he insisted that she do it so I didn't feel left out.she asked if she could kiss me I gave permission
for her to do so thinking that I was going to get a kiss on the cheek,
to my surprise she sat on my lap and we kissed for ten minutes.
now he is all mad because we kissed for ten minutes.she told him to stop bellyaching because he gave permission for her to kiss me
I don't understand why he would be upset when he gave permission.LIKE what gives with that?please help

Wow it sounds like she really likes you...even more than just a best friend! There may be more spark between you both than either of you is willing to admit yet! I bet you two will end up together instead

Her boyfriend sounds all insecure,,,good chance he has a jealous streak. I could see why he was mad..but also why the two of you figure tis ok.. Hes saw something between you two he did to want to see

Surprise...Happy New Year!

Are you sure you like each other as sibling would? Sounds like someone may have a crush/feelings. I think the the BF was stupid in the first place for insisting on the Kissing, but perhaps he knew something that you did not?

TEE-HEE Sounds to me like you two have had the pot simmering for the past month. Seems to me.. her boyfriend opened the door for the kiss so perhaps he "felt" there was something between the two of you and this is why you ended up at his place..
And what a pleasant surprise for you... couldn't have been better.. (smiles). Thumbs up on this one..

Out with the Old and In with the New

GOOD LUCK TO THE TWO OF YOU

Tell the freind to back up and ask his girlfriend why she insisted on a 10 minute kiss! Sounds like you got stuck in the middle of a bigger problem in their relationship!

As I have a tiny shinning on the boy Sherlock, I went to your other questions...
I suggest you to read them as I did and then, you won't have to ask this question anymore...

If your best friend boy-friend was ever your pal, I think this year things are gonna change!

And I don't need to be a seer to warn you about the side effect of requited love!
Most of the time it is called commitment...
Good Luck!

It sounds like he feels threatened by seeing the kiss that you got. If so, he is not secure in the relationship and that's why he threw a fit. He was jealous.

Sounds like your friend wanted to get back at her boyfriend for being willing to let her kiss someone other than him. (that or she has secretly been in love with you and thought what the heck)

i am sure he didn't expect her to make out with you for 10 minutes. but it does sound like you guys enjoyed yourselves. you might want to think if this friendship could go farther with the two of you. the bf can go his separate way

It's called taking advantage of the situation. You know what the problem is....you owe somebody an apology.
