Ok before I get people yelling at me that I'm cruel to animals I just want to say that I am serious about this. Don't get me wrong I LOVE ALL ANIMALS AND WOULD NEVR HARM THEM IN ANY WAY. I was just curious if it was possible if it would survive in it, Also curious if it would survive in milk also? I know its a stupid question but I was haveing a conversation about it with my boyfriend and he thinks that they wouldn't survive. I'm still on the fence and I wanted to bring in some outside opinions. And like i said before I would never harm any animals so I would never experiment this on a fish, I'm just useing my head on this one if that makes any sence. If you could let me know that would be great...and I want serious answers and no one yelling at me saying I'm cruel because I'm not. Just very curious...

No because sprite has c02 in it for carbination and c02 will kill fish just like it would kill us, they need highly oxygenated water.
I am sure milk doesn't have the oxygen to handle a fish either.

I am 100% sure they would die....would they die right away, probably not. They would probably take several hours to slowly strangle to death. Those liquids would probably burn there scales as well if I had to guess because the acidic nature of the drinks.

Well of course not! Why would someone ask that question? Everyone knows that fish can't survive in Sprite or milk. Why do you think fish live in WATER!!! Your right that is not the best idea.

The reason that fish can't survive in Sprite or milk is because all of the chemicals in them are to bad for fish to live in.
Also your boyfriend is right, you should know this already. It seems like everybody else does!

Please be kind to those we need to care for.
Remember we are the care takers of the animals.

The fish would die. It habitat needs to be clean and filtered. The chemicals alone in the soda and milk would kill the fish. That's why it called a freshwater or marine fish. Hope this helps. Didn't feel like giving a long drawn out answer. Getting sleepy.

GOOD NIGHT AND HAPPY NEW YEAR.

No a fish could not survive in Sprite soda with an ice cube.
A fish can hardly make it in a dirty tank.
I fish needs water to "breath". Humans need air to breath.

Stranger things have happened. The Sprite would probably give then gas and since fish have problems eliminating gas, they would probably expire. Milk? give it to your boyfriend, it might not be a natural environment for the fish and they probably wouldn't tolerate it very well either.

the melting of the ice cube might provide barely enough oxygen. the carbon dioxide in sprite could be too overwhelming. plus, the chemicals inside the drink may not be suitable for the fish.
in conclusion, i don't think the fish would survive.

No, they wouldn't survive, too many chemicals...with the milk, think about you trying to breathe in New York at Ground Zero. The milk is too thick to pass thru the gills.

What have you been smokin' or drinking? ABSOLUTELY NOT to ANY of these substances! Keep the thing in water where it belongs. Could YOU survive competely submerged in a tank of pure cola syrup? Same difference.
