If you have to urinate at the doctors', in a cup, can they find out? If they do, how?

A doctor can't tell from looking at the urine in a cup unless there's an obvious amount and it's floating with the urine. Otherwise, when your urine is processed in the laboratory, lab results will show protein. And that's a sign that semen was in the urine.

What is the specimen for? Drugs test or to see if you have a urinary tract infection? The doctor doesn't test the urine himself. If the urine is being tested in the surgery with a "dip-stick" test by the nurse, it will not show up sperm. If it is being tested by a pathology department, they will regard sperm in the urine, as normal for a male and they dont mention it. Basically no one really cares, and everyone knows boys masturbate -- that is normal. All the doctor is interested in is in your health.

Doesnt everyone hava a toss once in there life. Why do you care if your doctor knows you masturbate...im sure he does just as much. For the record no its imposible to tell from the urine.

If you do it before you go to the doctor, and then pee into cup there will be sperm in there.Because there is still sperm in side of your penis. But if you pee before you go to the doctor after masturbation you will pee out the sperm. In a couple hours I am sure you will have to pee again.

BOY......people really flunk the sex ed quiz on this question!

YES, PEOPLE, a urine sample CAN show traces of sperm; they don't all leave the body when you ejaculate!

Again, people giving advice and they don't know what they're talking about.

And let me be specific on this - it would be obvious that you EJACULATED some time prior to the urine sample; whether or not that was the result of MASTURBATING is irrelevant.

no...moreover...how can this possibly be a relevant question...you shouldn't keep secrets from your doctor...and masturbation is prevalent in 99 percent of the young sexually healthy population...it's not a subject that would ever come up...and now you can't tell if you you masturbate because you're emitting semen anyways whether you masturbate or not...usually at night

not in a urine sample.
if he were to have you ejaculate into a cup he could tell you had recently ejaculated, but not how by check sperm levels.
there is no way for him to be able to tell

not really, he might see sperm in your urin though. but that could come from wet dreams, masturbation or other things and is passed off by docs in young teens and up.
