What life lessons did you learn this year that you will be taking with you into 2007?

I've learnt:
~ that sometimes its okay to cry.
~ that sometimes its better to let people in and risk being hurt than to never let anyone close to you.
~ that it isn't a weakness to admit when you need help.
~ to never to leave things unsaid. Always apologise - you might never get another chance. I hope he knows I'm sorry.

I learned in 2006:
To treat family, friends & other people respect or else you will regret it.
To help the world out by pickin a few things up saving paper by erasing on it & not just throwing it away.
To be responsible.
To be organized.
To study harder.
And definatley to not drink or do drugs!
I hope I got the right answer for you,by the way I am 14 so this ? was a little hard but I do hope this was a good answer.
Happy late new years & god bless you.

Many things but two stand out:

1. Don't make so many assumptions. Often they're wrong and you can in some cases cause hurt to others if you act on them.

2. I learnt to pass my Institute of Advanced Motorists driving test. Something I'd wanted to do for a while and eventually stopped procrastinating and went and did it. Very proud of myself even though in the scheme of things it's only a small achievement.

I learnt what it is like to live in the bush with no rain for six months... empty water tanks... no television reception... and having to drive 60 kilometres (half on dirt tracks) to go into town to buy a loaf of bread. And the best internet connection I can get is 33kbps.

I've learnt:
- How it feels to love and to care for someone; to feel like protecting her all the time and yearning to be on her side at all times
- That life is really like a box of chocolate; you never know what you're gonna get
- You have to be yourself all the time; NEVER copy others just to follow your peers
- That he who does not give up easily will have a bigger chance to win the girl of his heart
- and, That all of our emotions are not permanent; they keep changing all the time.

A good question, by the way

I learnt the small things in life count for alot.
I learnt not to let the sun go down on an argument.
Most of all I learnt not to take myself too seriously.

1. You can't expect people to do what you want them to do.
2. Happiness is relative; and a choice; you choose to be miserable or you choose to be happy.
3. Never forget your higher power; it's hard to live this life alone.

I've learned that the internet is the devil, people that run coffeeshops in Detroit are morons that don't know what the hell they're doing, and I've learned that letting go is easier than anyone thinks it is.

There's no point in life, we work so hard to survive then after at least 80 years of doing the same pointless tasks we die and that is it, the end, eternal darkens...sound pointless to me
