If you are both of age, then go for it. 18 and 45 is a bit creepy, but if you are like 27 and 54, who cares? My parents are 21 years apart and have been married happily for 35 + years.

27 years is a bit much...
You have to think that 65 is getting old... while the other will be only 38 and still in the prime of its life.
Most people don't have 27 years difference between themself and their parents.
Of course... it is great for the older person... when the young one is willing to get sucked into it. But it can also be a problem for the older person... as it would have a hard time to relate to the younger one... because it is a different generation.
After all... parents don't understand their kids because of the age gap. Why should it be different for you.

No but when reality sets in it can be the biggest problem. Age becomes an issue because it relates to our perception of life. As we grow older our worldview tends to be more smaller than when we were younger. If you believe that you both understand each other and can relate to each other all the best to you!!!

I think it does. If the person's old enough to be your parent, I think it's gross. If age doesn't matter to you, more power to ya! That's just my opinion because I find a 27-year-age-difference disturbing.

love does not know any age. if you are that far apart in age, the younger person will become the older persons 'fantasy' and odds are that you won't have to worry about them going stray.
