Hi there,
Firstly i need to apologise to any plumbers out there, my knowledge of tapware names is minimal.

I have tried fixing this tap in my bathroom sink which is leaking from the actual tap. I have replaced the O ring, replaced the main plunger washer and re-seated the whole tap. I have replaced the washer on the tap yet still no luck.
What else could be wrong?
Please help.
Thanks

How did you reseat the tap? Are you sure that you did this right? Other problems may be that there was debris in the water that have created a channel in the seat washer. Just because you replaced the wearable components does not mean that they were installed without damage. I would say to try it once more; recondition the seat and replace the washer. See what happens. Good luck.

One other thing - on some faucets, the seat itself is replaceable, so you might consider a bad seat and replace it if you can. The other alternative is to replace the unit with a better one, perhaps washerless.

Did you do both sides feel the water temp. although sometimes with a small leak it's hard to tell esp. If hot and cold lines are touching or too close to each other somewhere near the faucet.
Do the other side too! their also a valve seat grinding tool
that may correct any seat problems along with a new washer
Sometimes the stem valve you put the washer's on is just too worn and needs to be replaced .If so save the new washer's you bought for when it's time to rebuild the new valve stem. Hope this helps and made sense

the 1st subject you're able to desire to do is turn off your water @ the backside of sink if there is no vales under the sink then turn it off @ the main important turn off vale.then pry the nob off or pry the little cap off,and take the screw out and twist the valesteam off with a wrench, and take it to the ironmongery save.to evaluate it,or get get some extra rubber gaskets and replace each and every thing back the way it got here off
