Can anyone help me find my father?

Question

I am 31 years old and I have not seen my Father since I was 17 and My sister died in 2005 at the age of 32 and I would like to contact him and let him know that I am his only child he has left and I think we should keep in touch.

I really dont have the money to pay the internet. I guess i thought i might find a cheaper way

I am soo sorry to hear this... Before I tell you how to find him, be sure to have a support system in place in case he is NOT the father that you had in mind when you started the search. There is a good chance that he has some substance abuse problems or another wife that kept him from finding he two of you for all of these years.
I do hope of course that I am wrong but just in case I am not, please be prepared. After the huge loss of your sister, I would hate for you to have to go thru the loss of a dream of connecting with him again too.
Are you in the united states?
If you just happen to have his social security number, you can write a letter to the irs and explain the situation to them. Attach a note with the birth and death ceritficate in the letter (dont seal it) and they can forward it to him if they deem it an emergency. They will NOT give you his information so you should put a way to contact him in the note. Then if he wants to call you he can. This of course is assuming that he pays taxes...but if he does the irs will probably have his latest address. If you send it now (when they arent busy, he has a good chance of getting it within a week or two. If you wait 20 or so days, it might get lost in themail so do so NOW if you can
IT should cost you about a dollar because you might have to address the note to him in a seperate envelope

Hey I've found you! Oh wait im 6 years younger than you. Honestly try using a people locator on the internet or sometimes you can find people that you can hire to find people ... search the internet for that.
