No contact order has been partially dropped.. just in pretrial... court is tomorrow, will see how it goes... forgot to mention it is in tribal court, and the victim is not pressing charges, the Tribe is, because I violated a tribal law, the "victim" has tried to get it dropped, but they told him he can't do nothing, because I broke a tribal law, so the tribe is prosecuting me, so if it doesn't get dropped looks like trial!

Court went well... the prosecutor figured that he couldn't win the case because no one had contact with the alleged victim and he won't be able to win the case because the victim more than likely wouldn't testify, so he moved to dismiss it, although he was ready to go to trial, so were we! Thanks for all who gave an opinion!

No prison, probation, probably a no-contact order with the victim, restitution for victim's medical bills and out of pocket expenses, court costs including victims compensation fund (you actually pay restitution twice, once to the victim and then a separate fixed amount to the court to compensate other victims), some type of anger management class, counseling or the like.

If there is a plea bargain, the type of charge you admit will have serious implications for many years. Get a lawyer. If you cannot afford one, make an application for a PD.

It seems such as you're relating an adjournment in contemplation of dismissal. this suggests that if the defendant does not get arrested for the time of the specified time, the case would be brushed aside. The checklist of the arrest will continually be there however the conviction won't. If the guy is arrested for the different crime merely before the tip of the specified time, the case could be renewed with the aid of the prosecution as nicely to the expenses pending for the hot arrest.
