no I'm 29, when I was a kid there was no internet, they just dug through my stuff

My parents didn't let me on the Internet when I was younger, now there are many programs parents can install so they don't have to hover over the shoulders. You should be thankful though that they care, there are a lot of crazies on the net.

My mother is 84 years old.

When she is over and I am on the internet she looks at the monitor like it is the spawn of satan. She is afraid of anything new. Heck, she still has a hard wired phone (no, not even a plug in jack) and it is rotary dial. I kid you not!

Yeah especially when i'm e-mailing my friends. My dad will stand there and read some of it then i turn around and say "What... did you want on here?" and he says, "Not if ur on it." and i'll say "I'll be done in a min" and finish typing the e-mail. He only does it to get me off the computer! LOL

When I was that age, computers filled up rooms and were not connected to the Internet, for there was none.

we didnt have the internet or a computer. hell we barely had a t.v..
but, i am a parent, i have tried to give them their privacy. but yes i use to monitor them and ask questions when needed. its because i love them and want them to be safe.

sometimes they will just be looking with me but yeah it's kind of in your "Personal Bubble" you know maybe lock the door for privacy or make a sign or close the door

occasionally, and it bugs the hell out of me, its not like i have anything to hide but it still bugs me sooooooooooo much, i jsut tell them to leave, lol
