I just bought a macbook which came pre-installed with the MAC OS. Can someone walk me through dual booting it? What additional programs do I need to install, if any? Thanks and happy new year to all :)

Download BootCamp from the Apple website. There should be instructions there.

Re-booting takes a lot of time. Try virtualization,it allows you to run both at the same time. Parallels is the software you need to get to do this. It's about $80.00 on their website http://www.parallels.com,there is a trial download for free. This is what I recommend.

i had a friend who did that just recently (i'm assuming that you know about partitions and how to set up multiple partitions). i think you install windows like you would normally but you have to download a file that has all the mac drivers on it in order to get all of your stuff working with windows. dunno where u get that file but a quick search and u should find it
