It was ok, the basic plot was one of those sweet cheesy things. Most of the characters were good. Also some of the songs are catchy. But I agree that Disney is trying to make it big and that isn't going to happen at all. Watch it on a day when you have nothing better to do.

Yeah! Wow! The High School Musical Cd was once a #1 CD in the country. I just don't understand why it is so popular. I hate the movie. i actually laughed at the pre-views because it looked so absolutely ridiculous. But is was the most successful Disney Channel Movie ever

Hell yeah. I have NO idea how it got to be so "popular"...and all the merchandising makes me sick (I think I saw a "High School Musical Board Game"). But kudos to the guys who came up with this thing...wonder if they had any idea.
My friend was about to play it for a movie night...O.o [I stopped her...Wedding Crashers definetly outweighed it].

i've got continuously concept it became extremely imature! it is so stupid!!!!!!!! it somewhat is made for little young little ones, same with Hannah Montana, yet young little ones watch it!! OMG!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! besides, i will't have faith that the third is in THEATERS! and that i observed previews, it sounds like there are some young little ones interior the flicks that act like the different substantial characters and shop on with them around, I guess there'll make a fourth and it somewhat is going to be those new young little ones' journey by all 4 years of highschool, and then lower back and lower back. WILL IT EVER end!?!?!?!?!?!?!

YES! while it is a moderately appealing movie that kids and adults can watch, after the first 5 minutes, I want to die!
