I wish to 'SHARE' my answer with others.
'Refrigeration is a study of HEAT extraction/absorbation from a given MASS at given TIME at a given TEMPERATURE !
This was taught me in the 'first' year of my REFRIGERATION course.

I disagree
Refrigeration is an action that attempts to satisfy the parameters of mass, time and temperature. It was fully operating in caves in Roman times.
You have outlined but a few of the many basics used in the study of Thermodynamics and Physics.
Surely you are not learning how to dig holes or transport ice?

Refrigeration make things cold. The scientific answer is of little use to ordinary people.Why did you ask it in the first place if you knew the answer. Very odd.

Really? There is such as thing as a refrigeration course? I hope you don't have to pay to go to it - doesn't really sound like a very good investment into your future...

If you knew the definition, why on earth did you ask the question here. You were obviously looking to get answers that were wrong or stupid, then you could show your superior knowledge answering your own question.
