My family and I crossed paths with him several years ago. He was WAY, WAY super nice! Not at all snobby or anything.
Of course, he did not owe it to me to be social because he was on vacation just like we were. We didn't try to engage him in conversation, we just said, "Pardon me" ...while moving past him in a shop. He made a joke about how he always seemed to manage to get under people's feet.

Rod is an ok guy. Nothing great, but I still bought his music and still play it. Some awsome tunes in his younger days.

I couldn't stand him till I lived in Israel and it was to choose between him and Hotel California of the Eagles!
Well, that's human nature for you!
Now I quite like him...
Then Scotland took my heart by storm some years ago...
So! To make a somehow long story shorter...
I would say...
Well, not good-looking, cocky; older than me, but I have a kind of weakness for let's say...
His VOICE!
HNY!

Hmm...
The singer?
How about:
Do ya think he's sexy?...
Heh, seriously, like any other singer, you either like what he does, or find it trite, boring, annoying, excetera. Personally, I liked some of his older stuff - "Infatuation" is a rather catchy tune - and I like that he's giving some of the older songs in the American cannon a new life, but overall, not one of my favorites.
That's my opinion, of course, your mileage may vary...
