It is NOT true that the whole of Europe uses the Euro. Aside from UK, these countries (at least) have their own currency: Switzerland, Denmark, Norway, Sweden, Finland, Poland, Czech Republic ... probably some more European countries if you looked it up.

UK is the dominant Country, since it controlled so many countries before.

Even when you get European Visa, to visit all the EEC Countries, you are not eligible to visit UK, they have kept that much difference within the EEC.

UK wants to keep Sterling as its currency and not Euro, which is a pool of other member countries currency.

it is due to fact that is they accept the Euro as their currency, thery are at an disadvantage in terms of income inflows.
