Introspection, meditation ... analyse your dreams.
Also what studies did you do, do you like or hate the discipline you studied ? And don't forget that you have two selves. One has to earn a living, the other wants to do great things. Rarely people can live of their daydreams, maybe artists, conductors or painters or sculptors... maybe also professional tennis players etc.
I am myself an engineer, worked in IT all my life long, but I always played the piano. Now I am retired, and I started a "career" in oil painting.
I hope this helps, good luck!

relearn your life lessons look back & see what you've been through. what kind of person you've become & how far you've got if you like where the path is leading you keep going. if you're unhappy with your life keep trying out new things talk it over with family cause they've lived with you & they know you best (besides yourself) they can really give you good advices so take them & keep trying until you get what you need

A mystic, like a Sufi, would say, 'that is why we are alive -- to discover that mystery'. Of course, the nature of mysticism is that once discovered, it is no longer mystery, and so one keeps searching.
It is not where you end up, but what you learn, on the journey.
That's one working approach, and it works for me.
