I used to have a very evn complection and had to wear hardly any makeup.... I now find that my cheeks are red and that I have a blotchy complection. Is there anything that I can do to help my complection....like eat certain foods or anything like that.

You need to have a beauty regemin which include washing your face daily with a mild soap like Nuetrogena. then follow with a toner that has alpha hydroxy acids(fruit extracts) and then always wear a light moisterizer with an spf of no more than 15 or your face can become clogged up. Nuetrogena has a whole line that is easy on the face and pocket but very effective on having a great complexion. I am 33 and always am told I have the most gorgeous skin and look 25 or 26. Very cool!

I agree with the comment about Alpha Hydroxy Acid. Alphahydrox.com has a lot of products w/ AHA in it. They have a face wash and a AHA souffle that I use daily along w/ a toner w/ salicylic acid. The AHA should penetrate deeper in your skin and help w/ the discolorations.

However, you can try using milk of magnesia as a primer under your makeup. That's the stuff called Maalox or Phillips that you can buy at the drug store. It helps to calm skin and it makes my skin tone look more even. http://www.paulaschoice.com.au/learn/article.asp?PAGETYPE=ART&REFER=SKIN&ID=113
