Brett Favre is through but he is still a good QB in the NFL. He is going to retire before he does become a horrible QB. Next year when Rodgers starts for GB everyone that has said Favre is bad will see how good he really is.

As much as brett has been a huge credit to the game, and its sad to see a great qb like him go. Its time to make room for the next young guy. Time to give rogers his shot.He studied under brett for the past few years, so he must be ready. Green Bay is a young team rebuilding right now. Best thing for the team is let there young QB build up with them establish leadership and chemistry with them.

He should be. The though of him playing in another uniform next year is unimaginable.

He is fully aware that Aaron Rodgers will be taking over as the QB. I don't see Brett as being the type to carry a clip board around or be anybodys second string QB.

It's time to hang'em up.

Favre is still the man and the best QB in the division, so eat it Vikes fan!!! He's got several good years of high caliber NFL football left in him. I'd love to see him stick around for 2 or 3 more seasons. Rodgers has not shown that he is capable at playing anywhere near the level Favre has shown that he can consistently play at year after year after year. 15 seasons of 3,000+ passing yards, yeah, that's pretty frickin' amazing!!!

I saw the game and the post game interview and I think if he made the decision today then he would retire but after a couple of weeks or rest he may decide that he wants to come back. Hopefully he will retire before he gets seriously injured at his age. Someone said that the mind may be willing but the body says no.

I say yes. Brett Favre has had a very good career. I believe he will call a quits.

God, I hope so... did you happen to see the rest of his games this year? He shouldn't gauge his decision by tonight's game, rather he should base his decision on his season as a whole and the fact that his team is not in the playoffs again...

He should retire, so he doesn't take the NFL record for interceptions into the hall... (He's only 4 shy of the record)

I think he has to have surgery and then see how well he recovers.
