I have a 2000 chevy blazer and is is running a little warm I have had the raditor clutch relpaced in July and now they have repaced the middle gasket. what does the middle gasket have to do with the car running warm

hey man the part you are calling the radiator fan, is actually called the fan clutch where i come from. the middle gasket your refering to would be the intake manifold gasket. where the manifold bolts to the heads must have been leaking coolant around the ports in the area of the egr valve. very common on later gm engines especialy vortecs

I believe the middle gasket is the middle section of the intake manifold, its half plastic half aluminum i believe. it was probably leaking coolant thats why they replaced it. and yes, fans DO have viscous clutches, i have replaced a bunch of the darn things!, i would ask the shop, maybe they screwed it up.

Radiator "clutch"? There isnt such a thing. "Middle gasket" might refer to some seal which could cause your radiator to leak

Your engine over-heating might be caused by low oil, leaned out fuel, or of course, low radiator fluid.

Overheating, check you collant level and chnage your thermostat to a 180 degree.
