family is supposed to support you no matter what and think you are great the way you are. lol, I wish
My 7 year old says... 'be nice'
Immediate family is your partner and kids, extended is parents and grandparents

Well, immediate family consists of one husband and one wife legally and lawfully married to one another. It can consist of children but doesn't have to. Legally adopted children and natural born children are exactly the same in the family sense. Extended family is uncles, aunts, cousins, nieces, and or nephews, grandparents. That would be the definition. The meaning is that you support one another and are always loving to one another. If your family has been sealed by the Melchizedek Priesthood of God they can be together forever. Even after death you will still be sealed as a family. Earthly marriage ceremonies, in which the officiator has no recognized priesthood from God, only extends until death, at which time the family unit will be dissolved. In good families the attitude is that no one gets left behind. Everyone pulls together to help make everyone feel a part of the family unit.
The family unit is the most important organization on earth. There is NO organizational unit that is more important than the family. Nations rise or fall based on how well they respect and honor the institution of family.
Probably no organization on the planet has done more to strengthen and honor the family unit than the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.

Family doesn't solely means members having blood relation ; but it means more than that, Its mean a group bounded together by the feeling of love , emotions ,tenderness ; people who care for each other

A family is a where you can find peace and a place you can go home to and be rest assured they will be there for you to ease your fatigue and stress from the outside world. Family is a place where people , listen and value your opinion. Family is where you can be yourself and still be accepted. Family is where you belonged and feel loved no matter how, what and who you are and who you will be.

in today's world u cann't trust outsiders,in difficult times a family helps you.

to me family is a gift from god. those relatives i knew since i born,will never cheat me or abandon me.blood was used as a kind of magic to tie people together.we needn't spend times to become close.
