It depends...
If it's dead: in the butcher shop, in the fridge, in the oven, in your plate... (It's a big animal, so it can be all of these at the same time!)
If it's still alive: in a meadow, gently grazing... Or trying to breed... Or about to get killed!
& I'm not sure that most of the beef we think we eat is horse: the taste of the horse is much too strong to be mistaken with beef...
But then again... We cannot trust anyone, can we?!
Nevermind, I prefer chicken & fish anyway...
