Use makeup to accentuate your positive qualities and make yourself feel great. Don’t focus on covering lines and wrinkles, but instead pay attention to your positive features. Let the beautiful you show through. Here are some tips:
1. Always use a moisturizer. A good moisturizer will help your foundation glide on and will keep your skin more healthy. Choose a foundation that is the same color as your skin, is moist, goes on evenly, and is one you can see your skin through. Don’t forget to blend around the jaw line.
2. If you have dark spots, a good concealer and foundation will hide it. If you have a lot, see a dermatologist who can lighten them.
3. Powder is used to absorb excess oil and reduce shine. If you have been plagued with oily skin all your life, you might notice that as you get older your skin is less oily, and you have fewer lines than your dry to normal-skin friends. Use powder sparingly since too much will accentuate lines.
4. Use eye shadows sparingly, and only use shadows that have a matte finish. Iridescent or shadows with a shimmer attract the light and will make wrinkles more apparent. This is a time when less is more. Use earthy tones that create depth, and apply the dark shadow to the outside of the lid making sure the lines move upward.
5. Eyebrows change as we age and become unruly and sparse. Use an eyebrow pencil and feather strokes to fill in the bare spots. Keep your eyebrows a lighter color than your hair and in good condition. Remember, eyebrows frame the eyes. So to open your eyes and keep them looking bright depends largely on how well you care for your eyebrows.
6. Use blush to create a soft look. Blush shouldn’t stand out. Use just enough to create a glow.
7. Use a lip liner to prevent your lipstick from bleeding into the fine lines around your mouth. Use lip products that have an emollient that will keep your lips soft.

You should invest money into good skincare first, good products make for a better base to put your makeup on. It sounds like your doing okay. Foundation with just a touch of powder if you have oily skin, or just foundation by itself. Blush and lipstick to give you some color. Absolutely use mascara! It ties it all together- you could probably do with out eyeliner though. About eye shadow, instead of using a beige eye shadow you can apply a bit of creamy foundation on your upper lids making sure to rub it in really well and that will cover up any redness making your beige shadow unnecessary...depending on your eyes you can also wear a light colored shadow to give you a bit more color when necessary...hope that helps, sorry its hard to tell with out info or pics of your coloring and skin type..good luck!

Just don't use too much makeup. If you have dark circles under your eyes, use cramy concealers. You can try Cinema Secrets and MAC. If you have an uneven skin tone but don't want too many makeups applied, you can just use 2-way foundations. It can be applied wet (for a full coverage), or dry like an ordinary pressed powder only it's more long lasting and the coverage is more beautiful looking! Try using Max Factor. If you have sparse brows, you can fill them up either a brow liner or a powder version which comes with a brush. It's important to use the eyebow products in hair-like strokes when applying the to make it look more natural on you. It'll help give your eyes more emphasis. Choose the shade that's not too dark than your hair color. If your hair's white, you can just use a shade of slight dark gray. For your eyeshadow, you can use gray shade on your lids to the crease then an eyeliner. It'll look more sophisticated and will bring out your eyes more. You can apply eyeliner around your eyes or just on the top line and half of your lower lash line. But it can just be an option. You can just leave the liner, then just go with mascara. A coat or two of mascara makes the eyes look more awake and livlier too. For your lips, red is always a classic! It'll help your lips look more livelier. You can skip on the gloss but if you want you can still use only a small amount just to give a bit of shine. Your blush can just be a light application of pink (depends on your skin tone) so it won't clash with your red lips. By the way, your eyes need not to look all smokey, but just to define them. It's up to you how much you want to apply the shadow depending on the occasion or in an ordinary day. You can also try eyeshadows in brown tones or other earth tones. Just leave pastel colors aside. Do also try to stay away from shimmery makeup since it will give more emphasize on your lines. Just play with the shades and voila! Hope this helps!

I definately think you shouldn't wear much makeup for your age.
If you do it should be a light powder foundation for the entire face, some mascara, a blush color powder for your cheeks and some red lipstick.
You can change the colors up a bit with your skin tone but stay with light colors and darker lipsticks.
Good Luck

Foundation some light colored lipstick and a little bit of blush is plenty at your age. As we age,we should wear less and less makeup. Too much make up can make you look older and garish.

I am only 22 but I see where you are coming from. Older women either dont wear any at all or too much. I think there should be a line of make up specialy for older women.

I dont think there is anything wrong with older women wearing makep but just dont put it on like you did when you were 16. Dont wear very vibrant colors except on your blush you can use bright pink but dont use blue eyeshadow or pink eyeshadow. Hope I could help!

Age is not really a factor. It is what you are comfortable with, what makes you feel good. In my opinion, less is more. I admire the natural look. You could go to the mall make up counters and have them give you ideas without buying their commissioned pricey items - then buy similar items in pharmacies, etc. Happy New Year - you look beautiful to me(<:
