Unfortunately the Indian team management has no other choice. Jaffer is pathetic too. Since Sehwag is going to be a part of WC team, he is being persisted with. Time is running out.

Sehwag has to see how he can stay at the wicket and not get obsessed with hitting the ball over the ropes all the time.He has to develop better connectivity with the ball. It is the flurry of emotion that lets him down. He ought to meditate for an hour everyday. He does have the potential and has been an excellent striker of the ball. Only Sachin, Sehwag, Dhoni, and Yuvraj have the ability to strike the ball in the proper rhythm and firmness.

Considering the poor form in the recent past, he does not deserve a place in the team for 3rd Test. However, since Team Mnagement does not want to put Gautam Gambhir to open the innings as he has not got much exposure to South African conditions and as Dhoni is not fit, they have selected Dinesh Karthik in place of Dhoni and promoted him to opening and brought down Sehwag's batting position to give him one more opportunity to regain his lost touch and form as Capte Town is considered to be a good batting track

Sehwag is a good player and has a great potential. You see each player tries to perform his best but there is a factor'UNLUCK' which disturbs a player. Sehwag is surely out of form but he is seeking a lot of advice from Ravi Shastri, Sunil Gavaskar and Rahul Dravid.

I think No. He had given enough chances to prove himself in this series. If he will be selected again and performed well in last match, he should rested till world cup for a set back.

yes - Sehwag is a great player and is just in bad form. He won't find his form again without playing.
