I have been the childs father for 10 yrs (no biological though) but she is my little girl... This makes it harder to kick her to the curb. All day today she was trying to snuggle and my mind is F****d up??? Then she tells me I am an a ss for telling her the phone is going away. I will purchase 2 phones (Pre-pay) for Talking to from Daughter to Mom...is that fair?? She also is mad because the international calling to her parents will be shut off... How can I stop caring? I know I am a mess but after 10yrs I never thought I'd be in this siutation. The BF is 6 hours away and she is worried I'll talk to him, but she wants to be with me (Mr Right Now) but still the BF 6 Hours away... I guess I can tell that the is not even faithful to the new guy either... any advice would be appreciated

this is a mess .. and what a man you must be to love a child that is not your biologicaly..do what is in your heart for the child..you are very rare breed of male..my hat is off to you...also talk to a lawyer you may have some rights you dont know about

I dont see what the problem is.
DO you like being used or not?
DO NOT buy her (either one of them) a phone
get her some stamps and some envelopes
chances are that they wont use the minutes to call you anyway.
The child is not going to be a part of your life if the mother says no so might as well tell the daughter you will always be there for her and maybe the daughter will call you in 8 years.
Probably before that because her mother will be begging you back after this guy that is six hours away DUMPS her azz too.
KICK her *** out that door and change your phone number

What a mess. Unfortunately, since the child in question is not your biological child, there is nothing you can do along the lines of visitation rights, etc. Even less reason to give your soon to be ex anything and everything she wants.

you need to get some nuts and kick her out ....the child involved is the one that will be hurting more than both of you and i am sorry but there is nothing that you can do to have any visitation you are a good man for excepting the responsibility of another mans child not many men do that sort of thing...good for you.....she has no clue on what she has lost and is a very stupid woman.....you need to explain to the child involved what is going on she or he will remember what you say when they get old enough....but any way say it in very gentle words.....but hte soon ex wife needs her melon checked seriously she has lost her mind....i would give any thing for a man like you....you guys are few ind far in between...good luck

Stop wasting your time, Brother. She's using you until she finds better. It's best that you send her packing. Also, it's obvious that she's using the child against you. Don't be a tool.
