It comes with the standard composite (yellow, red, white) cable. If you wanted to connect any other method (s-video, component or HDMI), you needed to buy another cable.

If you're going 32 inch. I would get a 1080p TV. Probably something along the lines of the LG LM5800 32". Not only is it 3D, its pretty fast for an edge lit LED, I've seen it in action on a bunch of sports games (nba 2k12, CoD, fifa 2012,madden) and there is probably about 30 ms input lag, which is good btw.

Yes, but since the ps3 is optimized for high definition, you wont get as sharp and clear a picture as you would from a standard def tv.

yes it does work but it will be better on a hdtv.(price about 1000$-infinity and beyond).it does not come with the standard tv cable instead it has the hdtv cable.

It should come with cables for both hd and regular tvs. if not, you can buy converters at any electronics stores.
