There is no connection between the word "diverse" and your desire to learn/know a lot of things. Diverse basically means "varied" as in "Jim has varied interests."
"Inquisitive" is probably the most suitable word you are seeking.
How about this unreal word I just made up: Inquisolute. Although you will not find it in any normal dictionary, It could be a word meaning "intense, determined desire to find answers." It is a combination of inquisitive and resolute.
