if anyone knows please answer this cause a lot of my favorite songs are by local bands u can find on myspace and stuff like that. and id loveee to have them on my ipod

Download limewire. Then just serch for the song, download it and shift it to the itunes library. Then just drag and drop on the ipod icon!!!!!! If you have your favorite cds then you can put songs from that too. all you have to do is put the cd in, open itunes, and click on all the songs you want. Then just drag and drop.

ya use like limewire download songs install itunes on ur computer
click file at the top go in import click then go under my music or watever find limewire music click on the song it should go on itunes list plug in ur ipod a new folder thing should pop up above the sorting lists click on the song drag it to the new pop up and unclick wala

Yes, you can load any mp3 from anywhere. They can be from the internet, limewire, ripped from your CD's or from web sites. Apple would not sell any iPods if they limited their customers only to iTunes because probably the majority of iPod owners do not pay for their songs.

I have songs that are downloaded online as well as from my cd collection. Just upload the music into your computer and then go under file and add files. They play just as well. And alot more affordable!!

i would try: in itunes click manually manage music
but i dont because im too lazy to eject it
