fantastically. I went out to dinner with my boyfriend -who got food poisoning and had to go home and sleep at 10:30 :(- and his parents. Then had a few close mates over for cocktails and then caught the train into melbourne which arrived at five to twelve. I welcomed in the new year standing on the steps of flinders street station watching fire works with half a million other melbournians. Then i went to th crown casino with my mates and they scammed me into tryin the pokies, never will again utter tedium lol. over all it was a great night!
Happy 2007 to you too!

After spending almost every New Years Day in recent years nursing horrible hangovers I decided to avoid the bar scene this year, it has started to feel too cliche. I had some friends over, cooked a feast, made cocktails, played scattergorries, and being a true believier in new beginnings and tradition....I ran topless throught the breezeway in my apartment community!

Crying, watching the ball drop - feeling sorry for myself. Was supposed o go out, but plans changed when my friend decided to sleep ALL day and ALL night.
I've never had a great NY's Eve and I really shouldn't expect one. Just start tomorrow morning like it's just another day . . .

I performed to a sold-out house and a standing ovation.
Now I'm home, slowing down, watching a little TV.
Happy New Year to all!

I shampooed my carpet (the carpet on the floor - LOL). When I finally remembered to look at the clock, it was 12:06am, so I missed watching the ball drop in NYC on TV.

At home watching how others celebrate on T.V. Too many guns fired outside even before midnight so I stayed in.

My husband and I stayed home, we thought it would be better than being out on the roads and taking a chance of a drunk driver hitting us.or maybe even killing us. we watched the New Year come in to together.
