the Nintendo DS costs 119 - 129 us dollars (the price recently went up to 129.99)
i think it's worth the money, i love the system
zelda, phantom hourglass is about the same thing as the other zelda games. the princess is kidnapped, gannon wants the triforce, and a left handed boy (right handed on wii) comes out of nowhere to save the land of hyrule. it is supposedly out on 6/1/07 - as you saw my answer in a question you recently answered ;P
there are no announced plans to put it on the wii, and even though the wii controller might be able to do things that are similar to the stylus, the stylus is much more exact - and it's used in the game for many things. guiding boomerang throws, for example.
differences between DS and DSL? - instead of me lengthening this answer anymore, i'll just link another answer of mine, answering this very question - [http://answers.yahoo.com/question/index;_ylt=ApaQyZ_URU0qI3ykTpc3fN7sy6IX?qid=20061116171403AAeGoiv ]
p.s. final fantasy VI is slated for gameboy advance, not DS, but obviously, it's playable on the DS

It's probably next to impossible to get a DS because Nintendo stopped making the DS after the DS Lite was released. As for the price, it's 129.99.
DS vs. DS Lite
1. 129.99 vs. 129.99
2. Larger vs. Smaller
3. Bulkier vs. Slimer
4. Normal backlit light vs. Brighter backlit light
5. GBA games fit into GBA slot vs. GBA games stick out of GBA slot.
I don't think there's too much info about the Phantom Hourglass. But you can probably go to www.gamestop.com and read what little info it provides, or you can try www.gamefaqs.com to see what info has been gathered by fans. I think it's just for the DS, and not the Wii. Let's face it, there's usually only 1 or 2 Zelda games that appears on the console, and most of the time, it's several years between releases.
I think it's worth the money because it's got some really good games for it, such as Castlevania: Dawn of Sorrow and Castlevania: Portrait of Ruin, Final Fantasy III and Final Fantasy VI (future), Children of Mana, Mario Kart.

they are all the comparable video games. there is no difference, there is no such subject as a DS Lite interest. they are all interchangeable between DS and DS Lite. be conscious for Snake #9's answer: The DS Lite can not play interest Boy colour video games, in basic terms DS and interest Boy develop.
