Simple couple it up to the USB port,
Hard if your trying to copy files from the mac to the pc or visa verse you can not do it sorry...
window and mac or two different file systems windows can only read FAT32 and NTFS format
mac may be able to read windows system file format? I know linux can

my external hard drive wouldnt work on my windows computer in general so i made a partition and then formated the hard drive and now it works perfectly

u can do it through an application in control panel, ive forgotten what it is though but i shows you all the hard drives u hav
