i went shopping w/ mi aunt and cuzin's and we i brought mi phone. me and my cousin's went to go sit somewhere in the target and mi dad called me. after i was done w/ the conversation, i put the phone on the floor next to me. we decided to move areas so i grabbed mi phone. when we were at the other area, it was gone! i checked the area 2-3 times while calling it and went to the guest services... they didn't find the phone...this is the 2nd time i've lost/ruined a phone. i'm not w/ my parents b/c i'm at my cousin's house. should i call them right now and tell them, or should i wait until tomorrow morning. wat's a way of telling them without them yelling at me? pleaz help me a.s.a.p.!

I think you should tell them as soon as possible, why delay the agony? There's no other way around it anyway. You can try to be more careful with your things next time. For instance like always carrying a bag around and making sure that your phone stays inside after you've used it or you can wear it around your neck too if carrying a bag isn't your thing.

There are few things that you need to do . These are the things which I did when I had lost my Cell
1 ) Lodge a complain with the local Police Station.
2 ) Call the operator so barr your service
3 ) Get to the Police Detective Bereau with the IMSI no. of your set ( u'l get it in the bill or with the package box of the mobile ) so that they may track your Cell frequency.
4 ) tell your parents as soon as possible becoz they are the real time friends & not us in Yahoo Answers.

is better to tell your parent cause someone could be making long distrance call on your cell, your parent should the cell company to report that the phone was lost, if you plan to get another phone please get some insurance so if you lost your cell, you are cover.

you need to call the cell phone place and have them to cut your phone out to report it.
