In an email someone said Im twinkle toes.

with this added... (maybe a cover up?)

a dancer, a person who dances with great skill I saw you dance at the Junior Ballet concert. You're a real twinkle toes!

Don't be offended. I think it's a term of endearment. They are actually complimenting you.
If they wanted to insult you they would be more open about it. If they didn't like you at all or thought that you were a rubbish dancer, they would just ignore you.
