Yes it is. I was having a drink watching the ball drop with my dad and husband... with our 15 month old son in bed- the 2nd New Year's he has slept through lol. I hope this is a good year. We had a rough year last year- with 3 deaths in the family. It was very hard, so I"m hoping for a better year.

I have an hour and a half to wait for midnight, here in California. I'll be watching a movie and when the moment comes, I'm making noise outside with a big pot and my big wooden spoon! Ah, yes! 2007 is my year. It's just GOT to be time for things to take a turn for the better and I'm looking forward with anticipation. If I don't log off soon, I'll still be sitting here (writing!) when the New Year arrives . . .

I fixed a good supper for my boyfriend and one of his friends and son, watched a movie, and then we went outside to hear all the fireworks going off. I think this will be a good year also. Happy New Year to you.....

I was driving home from work in a snowstorm. Can't drink cause I have one more day to work. So tomorrow night is my NY celebration.
