i cant sleep whats wrong with me past four nights i stay away threw the whole night i mean i had one day were i went bed at 830am and woke up at 3pm and i cant sleep at night time why is this whats wrong with me....this is not normal and before anyone say get a job im on annual leave many thanks work for social services not on drugs and dont drink so rule those out....no seriouse what can i do

I do have stress in my life some serious descion making which effects my children aswell as me...but the no sleep is getting bad I mean i even hear liquid noise in my head I AM NOT MAD i dont know what wrong with me i went three days without no sleep not even 5 minutes

When i say i hear noises i dont mean i hear things!!! i just mean i feel weird where i have had no sleep and i do hear like a liquid noise in my head what is that noise is it just where i have not sleep....i am a normal person i am just worried about my well fair....i know i will go doctors but some are saying i need sleep some are saying i need doctor and one saying i need a phycologist

Sounds like an anxiety problem, and too much stress....
The sound you are hearing is your blood pressure..check that out friend. you should be running about 120 over 80........If you have been hearing that sound for a few days it's time to see a doctor and don't wait.....lack of sleep is also due to your stress.....

you can;t take care of business if you aren't getting enough recouperative sleep..4 days is way too much...
Stop the caffeine and cigarettes if you do either one...
see a doc man , your kids need you in one piece....

You could have some sort of chemical imbalance going on here. Or maybe like me you just start thinking about to much at night. Do not take sleeping pills unless you can devote atleast 8 hours of sleep. You may want to seek the advice of a doctor if this problem is persistant.

My dear friend you need nothing but a correct advice.
Mental tension can take away your sleep. Sleeplessness will lead you to wrong decisions and increase your worries. Therefore you should give priority for your natural sleep.
Don't sleep and eat at day time for one day or today and work anything whole day. You will feel good hunger at night. Eat well and go to bed. Don't think anything. Recite prayers or only Gods' name with concentration on Him. Eventhen if you don't get asleep don't worry.
Next day you go to market and buy a round magnet. Keep it under your neck with S pole touching neck when you will go to bed at night. You will go asleep within 10 minutes.
You should face things boldly. Worry will kill you. Take right decision considering long term effects. Happy New Year.

I also have a hard time sleeping. I suffer from severe chronic pain that keeps me from sleeping. Some nights I do get some sleep but it is usually never more than a few hours.

I am a basket case to say the least.

I have this problem. Its insomnia plus you threw your clock off. What you have to do is stay up all day and don't go to sleep and at night you'll be so tired you'll doze off on time. I would suggest taking medicine that will put you to sleep, but only if a doctor prescribes them.

Try two Benadryl and some melatonin. I think that's how you spell melatonin. Anyway it is a natural hormone babies make but adults dont. It will make you sleep like a baby and Benadryl will knock you out. Try it.

i would agree with others have a good night sleep first...as far as noise in your head...I am not a doctor so i dont know what to say and you say your normal just had no sleep then...im not sure...best bet sleep then if presits doctor then let them advise from there

call you scientific expert and ask in case you could take Tylenol PM or Drink nighttime time Thera Flu alongside with your prescription. clarify which you will't sleep and you experience depressing. they should have the skill to propose something! good success

You have INSOMNIA

Must be really restless or stressed.

Try this, take two benadryls and it will have you sleeping like a baby. This is a temporary solution.
