Me and my best friend of 9yrs haven't been talking for about four months now over something dumb. Should I call and wish her a happy New Year or should I wait for her to call me? Note that she's the one that stopped talking to me first for no good apparent reason.

It is entirely up to you. If you want to call her and wish her a Happy New Year, then go for it!!! There's nothing wrong with starting off the new year on a fresh clean slate. Your friend will realize that you do miss her and you want her to be happy. Once you tell her Happy New Year, ask her why did she stop talking to you and you guys can try and work something out. True friendships last forever and life is too short to not be talking to each other for four months. I hope this helps. Good luck.

First of all there's 'always' a reason why someone stops speaking to you!
Secondly, why wait for her to call you first "kinda like a kids
game' to see who will backdown first, how dumb is that!!!
Of course you should call her first!
You've had her on your mind, you want to get on speaking terms
again so give her a call.
'''BUT''' if you are absolutely certain you don't know why she stopped speaking to you, then this might also be a good opportunity to ask her why!
There's nothing like starting off the new year with 'old issue's'
resolved.
Be yourself, upfront, and honest.
Good Luck!

give it a go. she might have been going through an emotionally rough time when she stopped talking to you. it may sound hard, but sometimes making the first move can be the best thing youve ever done, and if she rejects you, you're no worse off than you were before. she will feel touched whether she likes you or is still mad at you. she may want to ring you, but afraid to make the first move!

yes. be the one to make up for things even if you didnt do anything. and if you make up then just be more careful around them. maybe there is something bother her, no you. something happened with her family or she i really busy. but beware she might not want to be friends with you anymore because you are too uncool for her. then you dont need her. also see if she makes friends and if they are like different than you. if they are then probably they dont want to me friends anymore. but call her and see what happens. time will only tell.
