a kid was using my computer to update her ipod and after she finished my d drive with all my photos and backups is empty. when i view the drive in the disk management console it said the drive is unallocated, what should I do? I would like to try to save the files, i know there are some programs to do that, any recommendations of one that is good.

i use a recovery tool called final recovery it gets almost anything back,another good one is acronis,they both are on hirens boot disk,if you cant find it email me
