* Have you run a virus scan lately?
* Do you have sufficient RAM?
* What percentage of your system resources are being used?

Some homemade remedies:
- Many users are not aware of how much RAM is used by wallpaper and a screensaver full of graphics. Reset both to none or blank. You’ll be surprised at how much this helps.
- How many programs do you load at startup? Maybe you should check it out and ensure you are running just what you need.
To do this: cl Start, cl Settings, cl Taskbar and Start Menu.
- cl Start Menu, cl Customize, cl Remove.
- cl the icon for the program you wish to remove
- then cl Remove.
- This will prevent the program from loading at startup, but will not remove the program from the hard disk.
- Are you in a large file? If so, save frequently to restore full memory access. (Your work remains in memory until you “save” it to disk.)
1. Did you run an error check? Open My Computer,
Right-cl on C:, Select Properties, Tools – Run an Error Check ( checkmark “check all and fix); then run a Defrag again.
2. Are you using Yahoo Toolbar? Run a full Norton Antispy.
3. From IE, click Tools, Internet Options
delete cookies
delete files (offline files)
clear history (set days to save to 0 if you want)
click o.k., and Restart
3. click Start, Programs, Accessories, System Tools – run Disk Cleanup
4. click Start, Run ipconfig renew (type ipconfig space renew)
All these things should be done regularly. The more frequently they are run, the less time they take.
- Note: Games and videos are mostly graphics. Graphics create large files. If this doesn’t help, you should consider getting more memory.

You will have to get much more detail about this "freeze". Do you get a error message? Computer just restarts? The screen and the Mouse freezes? Is it during one program only? Random?
A little too hard to know with out details.

I had the same problem with mine. I thought it was a game i had put on it. I sent it back to the manufactures it's still doing it. I would find a local person that's a computer whiz to fix it.

some time its just ur ram just upgrade ur ram if that dosent help then u should have received a cd when u bought ur computer run that cd it will take ur computer back to the settings it came with

have you ran a anti-virus check? also try deleting unwanted programs, or unused programs from your control panel.. you will be amazed how many programs can slip through and end up on your system.. Good Luck!

you should install more RAM if your computer has only 128mb of ram then your not doing too well, you should go to a computer store and buy ram if you can install it but if you recommend a specialist they can do it for low cost if you provide the ram
