a busy body is someone who cannot mind their own business, and are always trying to tell what you need to fix in your life. Or they gossip a lot.

In Canada busy body refers to someone always prying into others business others doings especially when the someone has nothing to do with others. Many insulters and spyheads tend to be busy bodies or noseheads! These busy bodies I bet they don't
have any real friends.. no one they can really trust! They may have persons do their bidding just so persons privacy wasn't lost!

As the other writers have said, a busy body is someone who gossips, can't keep out of other people's business. The worst thing is though, they can't be trusted with any information because as soon as you tell them something, they run and tell someone else.
Don't trust a busy body!
