I had read an article a few years ago in a magazine where doctors had speculated on what his ailment was. His leg was in a brace and he would have died from his condition with in a year if Scrooge had not changed his ways and helped the family find medical help.I think the magazine was TIME. Did anyone else read this article ro has another one been printed?

I can't quote an article, but my english teacher described a study he read about to us. A doctor actually analyzed all of Tiny Tim's symptoms and did a big paper discussing what he could have had, and the only diagnosis was a severe case of the "pathetics." The ailment could not have been polio, for example, because Tiny Tim was cured. There was no cure for polio back then.
