What kind of snare drum does the drummer in Kelly Clarkson's song Behind these Hazel Eyes, use?

I very much like the way the snare drum sounds and I am curious to know what kind it is.

It's a standard snare, but it's run through the main mixing board when recording where they are able to manipulate the sounds electronically. The effect has a bit of delay with quite a bit of compression eliminating the high end. It does give it an interesting sound. The same thing can be done with a singers voice or a guitar etc.....................
