Of those two, definitely Reggie Bush. There're some others that have a chance though, like Maurice Jones-Drew.
I'd have to say Reggie Bush because he really helped turn his team around and get into the playoffs with a 10-6 record, right after a horrible year. The Jaguars kinda did go a bit into the dumpster, not making the playoffs with only an 8-8 record after going like 13-3 last year... choosing by impact on their team, I'd have to say Reggie Bush. Even if he wasn't AS great statistically, Bush had a greater impact; he really filled up the seats in the stadium.
Sorry Vince, being an all-star quarterback takes passing proficiency, too.

Vince Young.
Vince has more rushing yards than Reggie Bush, and has had a greater impact.
Kerry Collins dug the titans into a hole and Vince pulled them out. He's above .500 as a starter.
Vince Young is the impact player on the Titans, while Reggie Bush is just a complement to both Drew Brees and Deuce.

My vote would go to Devin Hester of the Chicago Bears. He's only a rookie, yet broke the record for return touchdowns in a season already. Imagine what he has to do for an encore!
Bush has played well in the second half of the season, but he started off horribly. That will play in the mind of voters, as well as the fact that he's not "the man" in New Orleans, Deuce McAllister is.
Young has played pretty well, and the Titans have won a lot more games than was expected, but voters tend to look at statistics, not wins, and VY's stats are pretty average when you break them down.
Jones-Drew has probably had the best season statistically, but he won't get enough votes because Jacksonville didn't make the playoffs and he was relatively obscure until the final 4 or 5 weeks of the season.
So unless you think an offensive or defensive lineman might be able to sneak in and win the ROY, I think Hester probably has the best argument to win it.

it aint reggie bush altho he did have a nice year. this rookie class is so awesome there are tons of great candidates: marques colston, joseph addai, jones drew, vince young etc...
but its gonna be VINCE YOUNG. reggie bush has drew brees on his team and deuce mcallister to split carries. who does vince have? nobody! the titans were 0-5, vince young led the team to almost a playoff birth after starting 0-5. how many players can lead the titans to 8 wins? if you put manning or brady on the titans im not sure they would do much better. reggie bush is great n all but the ROY clearly goes to vince young because he led a crappy team to a 8-8 record in the AFC.

I think it should be Maurice Jones-Drew, but it will not come down to who had the better year, Maurice Jones-Drew, or who had a great impact on his team, Vince Young, it will come down to the popular player, Reggie Bush, i mean just look everyone agrees he should be the Rookie of the year and what has he done, Drew Brees led the team not reggie bush and untill the second half of the year reggie didnt even have good rushing yards, but he will win even though i think it should be Maurice Jones-Dew

Are you people serious?? Reggie bush? He's only avg. 3.6 yards per carry. It should go to Maurice jones drew. If not him then vince but Reggie is so overrated its no longer funny. People just want him to be good so much that they'll give him the award no matter what he actually does. Look at the stats and see who's the best.
Bush: 152 carries, 545 yards, 3.6 yards per carry. 5 TD. 86 receptions for 729 yards, 8.5 yards per reception, 2 TD. 28 punt returns, 216 yards, 7.7 avg. 1 TD. *2 fumbles and 1 int.
Jones Drew: 166 carries, 941 yards, 5.7 yards per carry. 13 TD. 46 receptions, 436 yards, 9.5 yards per reception, 2 TD. 31 kick returns, 860 yards, 27.7 avg. 1 TD * 1 fumble.
Young: 357 attempts, 184 completitons. 51.5 %. 2199 yards, 12 TD, 13 int. 83 carries, 552 yards, 6.7 avg. 7 TD.
I think its obvious that Jones Drew is by far better than Bush. he only has 14 more carries, yet he has 396 more yards. 3.6 yards per carry is horrible for any player in the national football league. The only good thing Bush has is his receptions, but drew has a higher avg. in that and just as many TDs. Reggie bush is 22nd in the NFL in punt return avg. 7.7 is considered low for the NFL. Jones Drew is 3rd in the NFL in kick return avg. Their is no actual agrument for Bush. HE SUCKS. End of Discussion.
