I had the same problem finally i went to his mother and told her he was still coming around. all of a sudden it stopped hehe. try that.

Move to another country would be the best way.
But I would move in a different social circle to start with. Avoid places you know he really likes or find out from others if he will be there & when so you can plan around him.
But remember the world is a small place and getting smaller so if you reallly want to avoid him look at moving to the moon in the near future.
